Does weather impact the showings on my house?

Posted by Dave Reynolds on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2019 at 9:20am

Today I was asked a questions about the weather and the impact it does or does not have on the showings for any particular listing. I will say, in almost all cases, the weather will have a direct impact on the number of showings. You can generally see the number of views online increase when there is poor weather, however, just like you many people do not want to be out when the conditions are unfavorable. Last night in Spokane, we received about 4 or so inches of snow, I do forsee this slowing many people down as the do not wish to be out on the roads sliding around with the rest of the drivers out there. You can take this opportunity to look at your home and continue to prepare for future showings, for example doing a deep clean on a bathroom or another area of the house.

If you have any other questions about showings, please do not hesitate to ask! You can text or call me at 509-981-7853 or you can send me an email at Dave@SourceRealEstate.com.
